Classic Glass Carafe - With Glass Tumbler by Orskov

The Classic Glass Carafe is a simple and elegant carafe that includes a single glass tumbler which fits over the top of the carafe. The glass carafe is from the Danish design collective, Orskov. A classic design, these stunning carafes are suitable for both everyday use and special occasions. The single glass tumbler that accompanies the carafe means that once the carafe is full you have all you need for a glass of water or something stronger. This makes the carafe perfect for when you want to have more than just a single glass of your chosen drink, in for example your bedroom or study, without having to make trips back to the kitchen to refill. Made using borosilicate glass, also known as laboratory glass, the carafe has heat-resistant properties and so can tolerate both hot and cold liquids, making it ideal for water, wine, mulled wine, coffee and tea. This also means that whilst the carafe may look delicate, it is quite durable and both microwave, and dishwasher safe. Due to the fact the carafes are handmade and not mass produced, small imperfections might appear in the glass but as with all things handmade, this is what makes them so beautiful.
